IF it were the destination, it won’t be as much thrilling as it is now. This is why Journey more Important than the destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consider a scenario – where you get thirsty, get up, go to the kitchen, and have some water. You’re done. And then you can go back to doing whatever it is that you were doing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now consider this scenario – you are hiking in a jungle, enjoying nature with one bottle of water. The water gets over, and you know that there is a stream of freshwater nearby that you can get to, but you will have to use your navigation skills a bit to get there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trust me, when you make that much effort to get there, and you finally get there, the water will taste nothing less than a longevity potion!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly the feeling doesn’t last very long<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think these guys know what they are talking about. And honestly, if you have listened to as many podcasts and Impact theory <\/a>episodes that I have, you know that every Millionaire\/Billionaire\/Achiever understands that reaching your destination is a mood-killer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You reach there, and then that’s that. You get that satisfaction and happiness but sadly not for long. After the fun comes the emptiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You suddenly have all the time in the world but nowhere to go, nowhere to be and that is not a good position to be in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hence you will notice some common denominators of every individual who has achieved something in life. They all meditate, exercise, take think weeks (or similar), and pursue more than one project at a time. Everybody is at some level okay with being in their own company. I know getting involved in more than one project is an investment and contingency thing, but I believe it also helps to keep them going day after day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is Journey more Important than the destination?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I recently heard one of the talks that Sushant Singh Rajput gave in a college where he said something on the lines of … “when I was nothing, I wanted to be something, when I become something, I wanted to be more, and when I became more, I wanted more money, and now I have all the money in the world, expensive cars, but I don’t know what to do with it or where to go from here.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goal setting keeps you going. Gives us direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is one of the reasons why people wake up every morning with enthusiasm. It gives us a purpose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the past 6 years, I have been going around the country (India) trying to figure out ways and trying to build up a skill set that can help me to sustain myself as I go out into the world and travel full-time. It is not easy, I know. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

• I’ve tried full-time jobs so I could save money. <\/li>
• Tried part-time jobs so it’s easy for me to hustle multiple projects at a time.<\/li>
• Changed my field over and over trying to find the right fit.<\/li>
• Started a business and invested 3 years in it.<\/li>
• Also started this blog and quora space. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

  And I will keep going until I get there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  A lot of things I want to do in life have an age limit set by the authorities. So I really need to speed up the process. I gave myself this year, and there are some things that I have learned and explored to help me change my flow. More on which in the coming blogs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  Meanwhile I intend to make my journey count considering Journey is more Important than the destination?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
